Back to top5) Will you give me a certificate?
Most electrical work carried out by a DOMESTIC ELECTRICIAN requires some kind of certificate in order to prove that the work carried out has been done:
- Safely
- In accordance with building regulations
- In accordance with BS7671 Wiring regulations
This also proves that WE attended YOUR property. It makes US liable for the work we carried out. It is important that you get your electrician to give you this paperwork. There are a few circumstances where this paperwork is not required and in these cases we are happy to confirm any work that was carried out by email and provide a receipt.

Back to top7) What does a domestic electrician cost?
The best way to establish the costs for your job would be to contact us direct. We donāt say this to hide. We say this because things can change. This article will not always be valid. Costs for regular jobs are on our website and are updated regularly but these types of article would take too much time to constantly update so we have a ātypical pricesā page. This also applies to our services section on our Google page which is updated regularly.
Donāt be afraid to send us an email, fill in our contact form or give us a call, we are very friendly and approachable and happy to give an estimate where we can. Sometimes we will need a bit more information but we will discuss this with you when you contact us. š
Back to top8) How quick can my jobs get done?
This depends upon the nature of the job. If you require a light fitting to be swapped for you then this is usually achievable within 7 to 10 days as it is not likely to take too long. Where we estimate that jobs will take a half day, full day or several days then these will be booked in to the calendar as soon as there is space and after deposit has been made. Typically a rewire will take a good few weeks to book in.
All of this depends upon the urgency of the situation of course, if you are literally sat in the dark with no cooking, washing facilities and three children complaining about the lack of internet then we will try and get there sooner. š
All joking aside, tell us about your situation, if we cannot guarantee to do your job as quickly as you like we will absolutely not mess you about. We have a link with some other local electricians and we can make some calls on your behalf as we are nice like that.
Back to top9) Where do you work?
Have a look at the map hereā¦..
If you live inside the blue line then we can likely cover your electrical works or emergency. Outside of this may be a bit too far for us but itās always worth a call. We have trusted colleagues in surrounding areas and they are able to assist where possible and happy for us to pass their details on to you.
So if you need a DOMESTIC ELECTRICIAN then please give us a call or use our contact form to get in touch.
