EICR in Liverpool

An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is an electrical inspection to ascertain the condition of an electrical installation and its suitability for continued use. In plain English, we test and inspect to give an idea of safety and any foreseeable issues.

An EICR is often referred to as any of the following;

  • Landlord Electrical Safety Certificate
  • Electrical Safety Check
  • Electrical Homebuyer Survey
  • Electrical Inspection

We perform the most in depth electrical checks that we can and that the condition of the property allows us to. If you need to know the condition of your installation then please contact us and we can help. A thorough EICR will involve testing all circuits to the fullest extent possible and producing a written report on our findings. In the picture above, Kate can be seen testing at the consumer unit.

We can determine if a property needs a rewire or is getting close, if the wiring in the property complies with the latest regulations, if the wiring in the property presents any dangers and the severity of those dangers.

An EICR does not involve fixing faults, repairing existing issues or any other form of repair or maintenance work. It is not a warranty or guarantee of any kind either. It is primarily a safety check and a condition report.

If you have existing faults that need fixing then please call us and chat to us and we will help.
