1) Emergency Electrician in Warrington?

There are times when things go wrong in your home and perhaps the lights go out, all the power goes off, you smell a funny smell, lights flicker and you are just not sure of what is going on?

When you need an EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL SERVICE in WARRINGTON and surrounding areas, just give us a call.

We are the emergency experts. We specialise in electrical fault finding, testing and inspection and repairs to electrical installations that have been damaged. We carry a vast range of spare parts with more in stock. We are normally able to restore power quickly and efficiently for you. Most electrical emergencies are resolved within an hour. Where this is not possible, we will carry out the necessary work to make the electrical installation safe for you and then quote you for further works that are necessary to sort any issues out permanently.

2) What time are you open until?

We keep our opening hours up to date on Google for our customers. We are currently available for emergencies 24 hours a day but please check the up-to-date times on Google. We ask that you do not ring for general enquiries outside of working hours. We will take emergency calls out of hours for our customers where they need us to attend to their problems. We do occasionally need sleep too 😊

3) What can you do in the middle of the night for us?

Our main concern in the middle of the night is making sure that your electrical installation is made safe. If we can get the power back on safely as well then, we will do this for you. There are occasions that mean we cannot restore the power as to do so would be dangerous. Examples of this would be a burnt-out main switch, burnt out main power cables or a small fire inside the consumer unit.

Certain emergency issues require a larger repair. Where possible this will be carried out the following day however if you deem that the large repair is immediately vital to you, we will endeavour to work through the night to get this organised and carried out for you. On occasion we will need an electrical wholesaler to be open in order to obtain parts but we do carry a large range of parts and spare consumer units should the need for this arise.

4) Is there anything I can do before calling you?

Yes, there is! 😊 If you have absolutely NO POWER at all and nothing has tripped at the consumer unit / electrical box /  fuse box then you may actually have a power cut rather than an issue with your home electrical system.

If you suspect that this is the case then it is sensible to call the Distribution Network Operator (DNO). Yes, sorry that was a mouthful, wasn’t it?

If you call 105 then they may be able to tell you if there is an issue in your area, if you likely have a problem in your home with their equipment or if you need an electrician to attend.

So again, if you have absolutely no power at all and nothing has tripped then it may be worth a phone call!

5) Do you have any more information for us that might help?

Yes, we do. We write regular blogs and help sheets that might be helpful to our customers. We are a bit sad like that but we love our jobs! 😊😊

If you check our website under the “Help sheets section”  you will find some useful information there to read that might help to get your electrical supply back on without the need for us to attend. Don’t misunderstand me, we are always happy to bail out, day or night and come and help but we do like to save our customers money where we can especially in these uncertain times.

If nothing has helped and you still require an EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL SERVICE in WARRINGTON or surrounding areas then please give us a call.

6) Do you charge a call out fee?

This depends what you think is meant by a call out fee?

We charge an hourly rate for our work depending on the urgency and time of day or night. There are additional charges for any parts that may be required but there is no “call out fee” that is added on top of this. Say for example at the time you require us that our charge per hour (or part thereof) is £100, that is what you pay.

  • 1 hour on site £100

  • £15 in parts

  • £115 total. No “call out fee” to add on top.

This is just an example and not representative of our charges and costs which are subject to change.

There is a minimum charge of 1 hour for all attendances but there are no hidden costs. We are always upfront and honest about charges and costs for work carried out. We will not carry out any additional work beyond our agreed first hour without discussing this with you first. We do not pressure sell and will always issue you with a written quote for any further works that are required.

You are under no obligation to use our services for further works 😊

7) What are your charges?

Some of our charges are listed on the “Help Sheet” section of our website under “How much is it?” If you can’t find what you are looking for then just call us or email us and we will be happy to help.

8) How do you take payments?

For emergency works we take the first hour payment up front before we attend. Attendance times are agreed prior to payment and as soon as payment is made, we will attend as agreed. This can be done via BACS or by Debit or Credit Card online. Once on site we can accept Debit Card or BACS payments. These are our preferred methods of payment. If you need to pay cash just tell us.

9) How quickly can you attend?

We can cover the area between Liverpool and Warrington within two hours under most circumstances. Further afield may require a little more time but we can discuss this with you on the phone. If you need an EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL SERVICE in WARRINGTON or further afield then give us a call. We are friendly and helpful even at 2am 😊
