When you require a safety check for your rented property we understand that it can be tense waiting to see if there are any issues with the wiring, what it might cost to put right and if there is going to be disruption with your tenants.

Its stressful enough with all the other legislation surrounding renting, tenants rights, mortgage tax relief disappearing, the government making landlord life more difficult and the never ending attack on your finances and properties. We get it.

When we carry out our electrical inspections for landlords we know that most of you just want to know that your tenants are as safe as they can be and that you won’t have any issues with your electrical installation now or in the future. We carry out our electrical checks thoroughly and take great care to perform as many tests as possible. If there are any issues we can see we will inform you and if there is anything that can be fixed on site without revisiting and disturbing the tenants then we will contact you on the day to discuss.

Most importantly, we always attempt to save you money where we can. The wiring regulations can change regularly and when they do it can be expensive to comply. We stay abreast of the regulations and any pending changes and ensure that any work we carry out is as future proof as possible. Its not fun or cheap to have to change a consumer unit every few years when a better one to start with may have meant less overall cost.

Some of you may have properties in the north west but live many miles away. The stress of managing property from afar can be overwhelming especially with tradespeople visiting and informing you of problems. We like to offer walkthrough videos or photographs to explain any work that may need carrying out along with a full written quote for anything that may be necessary.

The important thing is not to worry. If your landlord safety check or EICR is due then contact us to discuss and we will be happy to have a chat.
